Bridging Shows Time Lapse Video

Bridging Shows Time Lapse Video Video Clips. Duration : 5.30 Mins.
As many of you are aware, from the time Bridging left the cable station we originally filmed at after Bridging Show # 182, until we moved into our own studio space in June of 2010 to film portions of Bridging Show # 252, we were at three different production facilities in Santa Barbara: Alamo Studios, Pilgrim Terrace, and the Center of the Heart. While all these facilities were wonderful at the time, and served Bridging beautifully, we did have to bring all the Bridging production equipment, including cameras, tripods, lighting equipment, audio equipment, sandbags, backdrops, food, drink, etc., etc., etc., INTO each facility the day of the filming and OUT of the facility the same evening.....and it was an amazing process. One of Bridging's most dedicated and talented family/crew, Greg Allyn, decided he wanted to show the entire process as it unfolded on one day in the Bridging filming life. So, after a few trial efforts, Greg set up, on January 9, 2010, a time lapse camera to film the entire process from a fully configured space for the on-going activities of the rented facility (in this case, The Center of the Heart), through set-up, two entire shows (with Eliza Mada Dalian and Ginger Metraux), the break-down of the entire set, etc., to a completely clean and empty room. The music used is the magical manifestation of Omashar, who also did the wondrous music on the opening and closing videos on all Bridging shows. Samsung HMX-F80 Test Video Tube. Duration : 9.55 Mins.
Playlist of tests and Q&A videos with this camera: www.youtube.com A collection of test videos shot with my new video camera and tripod. The camera is a Samsung model HMX-F80. The tripod is a Samsonite of unknown model. I really recommend a tripod. You wouldn't believe the difference it makes. The last third of the video is a test of the time lapse function. The driving segments were created by locking down the camera on the tripod, starting the recording, driving (duh), parking, ending the recording, then editing out the boring starting and stopping parts. Don't mess with a camera while you're driving, kids! It's a good way to get run over by someone texting while driving! Manfrotto Veloce V Photo Bag Review

Manfrotto Veloce V Photo Bag Review Video Clips. Duration : 10.22 Mins.
I picked up the Manfrotto Veloce V camera back at Sam's Club. It included a portable manfotto tripod as park of a packaged deal costing . The bag is nicely padded and can fit a camera with up to a 70-200mm lens attached, 3-4 lenses, flash, 15.4" laptop, memory cards, and a tripod either inside or strapped to the outside. I think it is well made and, coupled with the travel tripod, a great deal for . I would recommend looking at the sling version of the backpack too. I would have the sling, but Sam's Club didn't carry it. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and it gives me room to grow. Watch the video to see what I think needs improving in the future versions of this bag. It is certainly not the be all and end all of photo bags. Cheers.

D7000 vs 60D Low Light Test Redux
by Jimmie Townsend
D7000 vs 60D Low Light Test Redux Video Clips. Duration : 0.90 Mins.
I redid this test to address two complaints about the earlier test, the white balance and the focus. The white balance was set to Auto before, leading to two different color temperatures. This time I set the white balance on both to 3300k (3330k on the Nikon, because it doesn't have 3300k). Also, some people thought that the Canon looked improbably soft in comparison to the Nikon, so I made sure to triple check the focus this time. Both lenses are set to infinity and looked focused through the viewfinder and when zoomed in on the LCD. The lenses are the same Zeiss Distagon 35mm f/2 on each camera. The tripods are also the same. Thanks to Marco for taking the time to provide his technical expertise. This video was made possible by Adorama Rental Co.

iStabilizer Flex - tinyurl.com iStabilizer is a new and innovative company that produces camera mounts and dollys for smartphones like iPhone, Android, Blackberry and much much more. So how does the iStabilizer Smartphone Flexible Tripod work? It is easy as pie. Open the tripods legs or bend it around most places to get that unique shots with your iPhone 5. Now take your smartphone and slide it in as shown in the video. It is not preferred to pull on the top, rather just slide it in (i know, that's what she said). Now you can use your camera phone as if it is a video camera and record your occasion professionally on the High Definition setting. It is also known as the i phone tripod. Your video quality will be superb and a joy to watch. Other products from iStabilizer is the: iStabilizer Flexible Tripod iStabilizer Smartphone Video Stabilizer iStabilizer Glide pro iStabilizer Glass Mount iStabilizer Monopod iStabilizer Dolly The mount shown here can be purchased on its own if you already have a tripod or monopod to connect your smartphone to. If you buy any of the other products, Flex, GlidePro, Glass, Monopod or Dolly, the mount is included. We strive to be the best smartphone tripod there is in the world, although we are located in the United States of America. One problem I have with recording with my Samsung Galaxy S3 is that the audio can sometimes be a little soft. I hope they sort that out quickly. Western Maryland Scenic Railway - Night Train to Brush Tunnel

Western Maryland Scenic Railway - Night Train to Brush Tunnel Tube. Duration : 20.22 Mins.
A night ride to a couple photo sessions on the Western Maryland Scenic Railway on October 15 2000. We're doubleheaded here-got diesel on the front and steam at the back! The diesel pulling us out is the same one used during the WMRY 150th Anniversary at the B&O Museum in 2002 (video posted), and the steam, of course, is #734! Our first photo session is just north of Helmstetters Curve. Really more of a still photo thing than a video opp. The cameras were on tripods, and when signalled, the photographers opened the cameras' shutters. With the shutters open, someone walked around the train with an electronic flash, firing it at the train from different angles. The camera shutters are then closed, and the result is a photo of the train looking spotlit with multiple lights! But some interesting images could still be captured on video. I incorporated a few camera special effects as well. We then go on to Brush Tunnel where the process is repeated. Great sequence here where it sounds like #734 has an audible beating heart! Odd noises are also occasionally heard. And, of course, one can't beat the sound of #734's whistle! The horn on the diesel ain't bad either. The next day we had a great excursion through fall colors! But the early rain made it difficult to ascend the grade around Helmstetters Curve! I'll eventually post. I uploaded this in an effort to show something different. Hope you enjoy; I really had fun making this. From an original hi-8 tape. Mastered here in 720p.

All of the footage was filmed with Canon cameras (5D Mark ii, 7D and the T2i). Tough guy sound was captured using Rode VideoMics. They are pretty awesome. Interview with Mr. Mouse was captured using the Sennheiser ME66 Shotgun mic and the Sennheiser g3 wireless lav system running into a Zoom H4n. We also used the Glidecam 4000 which stayed in balance wonderfully despite the rough conditions. The Kessler KC-Lite served us well as a great, portable jib. The Kessler Pocket Dolly helped us also get some wonderful shots. We also use Manfrotto tripods and monopods for our cameras. Edited in Final Cut Pro 7.

Palmerston North (Various) 2011-05-20 Tube. Duration : 4.83 Mins.
Spent the morning amongst the trains again. Firstly the Milson Bridge where 624 was running (unusual for a Friday in my experience). Then walked up to Roberts Line/Richardsons Line for the 3 regulars, and finally down to Mihaere Drive overbridge for a shot of 628 - a location I haven't tried before with the new camera. As a bit of an experiment I tried the HG rather than the HA setting for my output. HG files are typically 75% the size of the HA files and the loss of quality was acceptable to me. I don't as yet know if I can shoot in HA quality and then convert to HG, HZ, or HE from HA output. I'm using a camera tripod (Takara TF-2631) and am slowly learning how to make the best of it. However I can see myself becoming frustrated enough to invest in a 400-500 dollar video tripod at some later stage. Anyway enough of all this - the following trains were filmed: 1. 624 Palmerston to Napier freight. DX5166. 8:35 am. Milson Bridge. 2. 200 Wellington to Auckland passenger (Overlander). 30249. 9:50 am. Roberts Line. 3. 232 Wellington to Auckland freight. 30094 & 30232. 9:55 am. Roberts Line. 4. 221 Auckland to Wellington freight. 30226 & 30157. 11:00 am. Richardsons Line. As usual this train is hard to film along Railway Road from head-on since shooting is almost directly into the sun. Dull days are better. 5. 628 Palmerston to Napier freight. DX5120. 12:45 pm. Mihaere Drive Bridge. Worked very well (except in some measure the lighting) because, with no panning or angling ...

Routemasters at Hyde Park Corner in 1983 Video Clips. Duration : 6.18 Mins.
At 3:45 there is a brief shot of an RM repainted for London Transport's 50th anniversary (1933-1983) which helps narrow down the year this was videoed. The promised excitement on the tripod front arises at 5:15 with the arrival of the forces of law and order. Not sure what the excuse would have been if the camera was being hand held, but the tripod did (and still does) present an opportunity to halt proceedings. There is this regulation in the Royal Parks that prohibits cameras on tripods without permits that stems from the early days of street photography (in the nineteenth century) to prevent park users being needlessly harrassed. Hardly the situation here one would have thought, seeing as the offending device was on a traffic island in the middle of the public highway. They just make it up as they go along, don't they? maps.google.co.uk Next Stop: Victoria

First Person Shooter Opening Day Dove 2011 Frisco Texas Tube. Duration : 11.38 Mins.
This is my first time out with my new camera. The clicking/rattling of the base has now been eliminated with a slight modification to the camera base. All these shots are from the "First Person Shooter" view and came out pretty good. I got some great sustained lead with follow through shots. I got in to the field late at about 07:30 lugging 3 video cameras and tripods 2 Mojo decoys and bucket with ice and water to sit on. It took 1 box of shells and 1 hour to get a limit of doves and one bunny. Some images may be disturbing to people that do not know where their food comes from. My Dogs and I do know where food comes from and cant wait for it to hit the grill tonight. The Bunny will be Filipino Adobo tomorrow. Kelly's dog Mack is doing GREAT! The more these dogs get out and hunt the smarter they get. Deutsch Drahthaars kick ass. They point, track scent and blood, retrieve on land and water, hunt ducks, quail, rabbit, boar, deer, raccoon's and squirrels. Manfrotto 701HDV fluid tripod head test Video Clips. Duration : 3.50 Mins.
I just got a Manfrotto 701HDV tripod head and I thought I'd try it out. I shot these clips with a Canon 5D Mark II and the lenses I used were a Canon 50mm f/1.2 L and a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L. The tripod legs used were an old set of Bogen 3046. I did horizontal and vertical panning at 50mm and 200mm to show how smooth the pans are. I haven't had much practice with this head, or any fluid head, so with practice the pans could be a little smoother. In the 200mm horizontal pan shot, I had to take a step to adjust where I was standing to complete the pan, and it gets a little shaky there. Not a recommended technique. Doing vertical pans is more difficult, especially with the 70-200mm lens, because when you tilt the camera significantly up or down and let go, it will move on its own. There is no way to balance it so it is stable at all tilt angles. That setup weighs about five pounds; vertical pans are easier with lighter weight camera/lens setups.

Elias Soriano and guitarist Andrew Goldman play at a FYE CD Release party for Recoil. Recorded by Tim Wuolle in August of 2004 in Madison Wisconsin. Sorry this is so shakey. Way to many people in a small space. I was holding the camera above my head. Originally, I had two cameras set up on tripods before the show, but they said I couldn't record. After the first song, then they said I could record. Yes! this is getting old the way that you speak to me never could decide how you wanted us to be i never know when your speaking sincerely why wont you show your intentions towards me you think you know the answers to everything i want to go my own way this time and when you show me that you can be trusted then i will show you truth in your lies past all the time we wasted i saw the end this wasnt what you said it would be when i heard the words and they began past it all this wasnt what you said it would be when i got there why does it always have to be your way i tried your way before dont want to try it anymore why cant you let me do this my way im tired of the ends the means are all pretend past all the time we wasted i saw the end this wasnt what you said it would be when i heard the words and they began past it all this wasnt what you said it would be when i got there and when i got there they didnt even recognize me when i got there in the end past all the time we wasted i saw the end this wasnt what you said it would be when i heard the words and they began past it all ...

RED: Basics for a film student pt2.mov Video Clips. Duration : 14.05 Mins.
This is my final project thesis - Its a training video that caters to intermediate film students about the RED One camera - Myself and my mate were inspired to do this video because back in 2009 we found it was very difficult to get a thorough insight of this camera. Which discourage us as film students and to some the sense of mystery made the camera seem a bit intimidating - So we set out to do a free training video on the camera a bit soft around the edges using layman's terms while focusing on the main principles. This training video is for the film student whom already have a working understanding of most of the concepts and practices surrounding digital cinematography. It caters to students who come from a background of lighting for digital camera work. Students who have worked already with cameras like the HVX200 (panasonic.com, 2010) or the Sony EX1 (Sony.com, 2010) or 3 will benefit significantly from the training video because those cameras already use the work flow that the RED camera uses. The following is a list of things students should know relatively well before using this training video, Students should: I. Know how to set up a camera securely to a tripod II. Have a comprehensive knowledge of lens and filters (eg neutral Density and Polarize filters) III. Have a good knowledge of aperture (f/stops), shutter and their effect on the image. IV. Understand the basic 3 point lighting system V. Have a good knowledge of color temperature and the role of color in ...

Redged TSC 424 Wood Tutorial Video Clips. Duration : 2.57 Mins.
Excellent design, tubes made of carbon but with a 'wooden' finish. This great looking tripod its the perfect match for your design camera. With a special technique we wrap the tripod legs with a wood like finish in the color dark oak. It looks awesome. The tripod is the same as the TSC 424. Very small, very strong and lowest weight because of the use of carbon legs. Carbon is also essential for maximum suppression of vibrations. The Redged TSC-424 is the ultimate travel companion for photographers who demand excellent camera support in a minimal volume. The legs can be set in three positions: high, medium and low. For macro shots you can remove the lower part of the two section center column. The smoothly turning rings guarantee secure locking without extra power. The TSC-424 easily fits in most day packs. During 3 weeks, professional adventurer and outdoor photographer Jolanda Linschooten (www.outdoorfoto.nl) intensely used the ultra light and handy Redged tripods and monopods for a National Geographic Traveler article. "I'm used to carry heavy loads during my expeditions. It's a consequence of my own choice: I just want to camp outside to catch the latest evening light as well as the first rays of sunrise and I want to be self supporting. Professional camera gear, especially a tripod, is heavy. But I never do any concessions. I'd rather skip on food than leaving my tripod at home, as in fact my photography makes my bread.
